On August 9th, a delegation of 2017 ISEF winners visited Longquan Monastery. The temple offered the delegation a fresh experience of interactions with ven Xian'En and volunteers from various departments. Master Xian'En introduced the basic idea of Longquan Monastery to actively use contemporary advanced technology to disseminate Buddhism and serve the society. He quoted A.Einstein's comments on the relationship between Buddhism and science, as well as the profound impact of Buddhist Chan meditation on Steve Jobs. Master Xian'En also warmly invited the young winners to come back to Longquan Monastery any time in future for project cooperation or meditation, saying that Longquan Monastery is a partner in their future lives. The delegation also watched the video series of Xian'er(the name of a catoon monk) and experienced mindful vegetarian lunch in the temple.
