President Xuecheng of the Buddhist Association of China Meets President Ruifa of American Buddhist Confederation and His Delegation

On October 16,2015, a delegation led by Master Ruifa, president of the American Buddhist Confederation, and Ven. Master Xichen, honoary president of the Confederation, paid a visit to the Buddhist Association of China. Master Yanjue, deputy president of the Association and abbot of Beijing Guangji Temple, accompanied the delegation on a tour around the Temple.

Ven. Master Xuecheng, president oftheBuddhist Association of China, had a meeting with Master Ruifa, Ven. Master Xichen and the delegation in Huaiyuan Hall of Guangji Temple. On behalf of the BAC, president Xuecheng expressed warm welcome tothe delegation for visiting the association. He expressed his sincere appreciation to the masters of the confederation. Being away from their homeland for many years, they have been spreading and promoting the Han Chinese Buddhism in the United States unremittingly. It is with their arduous efforts that the Han Chinese Buddhism can take root, grow and make remarkable achievements in a  religiously diversified country like America..

TheABCdelegation led byMaster Ruifa also attended the 4th World Buddhist Forum during their visit to China. This multi-level and multi-field communication has enhanced the understanding and friendship between Chinese and American Buddhist communities and created possibilities for strengthening communication and cooperation between the two.
