More than 90 students including three masters from Longquan Monastery attended the 2018 Buddhist English Training Course - English Translation Training Course for the Fifth World Buddhist Forum

Jul.22^nd,2018【Longquan Update】Lately, the 2018 Buddhist English Training Course - English Translation Training Course for the Fifth World Buddhist Forum began at Putuo Temple, Zhuhai city. Three masters from Longquan Monastery's English Class attended the training. More than 90 students of simultaneous interpreters, interpreters and translators were Buddhist monks and laymen recommended by national Buddhist community, while the teachers were from University of Hong Kong, Chinese University of Hong Kong, Peking University, and Nanjing University. The training course, which aims to select translators for the World Buddhist Forum, is an important measure to improve the translation quality for the forum.
