Beijing Longquan Monastery recently organized an enriching and interesting competition of “ Foreigners Speaking Chinese”, attracting over a dozen contestants from Nepal, Thailand, Malaysia, Japan and Benin, among other countries, together with students from Viet Nam and the UK of the Chinese Culture Experience Class.

May 12th, 2018【Activities of Longquan】Beijing Longquan Monastery recently organized an enriching and interesting competition of “ Foreigners Speaking Chinese”, attracting over a dozen contestants from Nepal, Thailand, Malaysia, Japan and Benin, among other countries, together with students from Viet Nam and the UK of the Chinese Culture Experience Class. They participated in events including matching traditional Chinese characters and their simplified counterparts, dubbing for Monk Xian’er and giving impromptu speeches, among other activities that showcased their ability of using the Chinese language. Ven. Wuguang, Director of Longquan Translation Center gave out the prizes and joined the Q&A session.
