An English class for 32 newly-ordained monks of the Longquan monastery, was started at Songjie Hall recently.The course is designed to accumulate English version of Buddhist terminology, facilitate daily oral communication and train Buddhist talents for foreign exchanges and international Dharma promotion.

Mar. 30th, 2018【Sangha’s Study and Practice】An English class for 32 newly-ordained  monks of the Longquan monastery, was started at Songjie Hall recently. In the class, Ven. Xianqing shared his learning experience in a humorous way, which is both enlightening and entertaining. At present, the sangha learn English mainly through reading so as to cultivate their basic sense of the language. The course is designed to accumulate English version of Buddhist terminology, facilitate daily oral communication and train Buddhist talents for foreign exchanges and international Dharma promotion.
