The seven-day 2018 Spring Festival Blessing and Avatamsaka Dharma Assembly closed in Longquan Monastery on Feb. 21st. Sangha and lay people paid respect to Buddhas piously, praying for the peace, well-being and prosperity of the country and people’s life, and together enjoyed a joyful and harmonious Spring Festival.

Feb. 27^th, 2018 【Activities of Longquan】The seven-day 2018 Spring Festival Blessing and Avatamsaka Dharma Assembly closed in Longquan Monastery on Feb. 21^st, which featured a major event, chanting the Avatamsaka Sutra, among other activities including making offerings to the Buddha, Dharma talks, prayer for Auspiciousness, taking Refuge, making offerings to Celestial Guardians, and Extinguishing the Flaming Preta’s Mouths. Chanting filled the monastery everywhere. Sangha and lay people paid respect to Buddhas piously, praying for the peace, well-being and prosperity of the country and people’s life, and together enjoyed a joyful and harmonious Spring Festival.
