Sept. 27^th, 2017【Activities of the Abbot】The school opening ceremony for undergraduate and postgraduate students enrolled in 2017 at the Buddhist Academy of China (BAC) was held at Fayuan Monastery on Sept. 25^th. Leaders of the United Front Work Department of CPC Central Committee and the State Administration for Religious Affairs of P.R.C, as well as relevant staff from the BAC attended the ceremony. Ven. Master Xuecheng, Dean of the BAC, encouraged in his address the first year students to accumulate and assimilate knowledge of the Buddha Dharma, and make progress in self-improvement. He also urged them to be mindful aptly, stay true to their original aspirations, and make courageous efforts.
