At the Lantern Festival on the fifteenth day of the first lunar month, about two hundred Chinese gathered and attended the Blissful Prayer Dharma Assembly in Bohua Monastery, Botswana.

At the Lantern Festival on the fifteenth day of the first lunar month, about two hundred Chinese gathered in  Bohua Monastery, Botswana. On the Blissful Prayer Dharma Assembly, they celebrated the festival by making and cooking rice dumplings, guessing lantern riddles, offering lamps, among some other activities. The kids in the assembly watched a cartoon film of Ven. Xian’er—Peaceful Warrior. Ven. Xianshuang and the laypeople chanted theMangala Sutra in both English and Chinese. The master also gave a Dharma talk on “Living in Gratitude”.
