Bohua Monastery, the African branch of Longquan Monastery welcomed 70 orphans and five teachers from the SOS Children's Village in Gaborone on November 13.

Bohua Monastery, the African branch of Longquan Monastery welcomed 70 orphans and five teachers from the SOS Children's Village in Gaborone on November 13. The children experienced monastic life and watched animation about Xian’er. Ven. Xianshuang and Ven. Xianzeng gave talks to the teachers and children on the life stories of the Buddha and the history of Buddhism, and interacted with them. The Chinese disciples brought hats, stationeries and food to the children and taught them Chinese. Through the one-day stay in the temple, the children experienced loving-kindness and compassion of the Three Jewels and love and care of the local Chinese people.
