On the National Day holiday or the Spring Festival holiday, Ven. Xianyu, the Longquan Monastic Chef will thoughtfully prepare delicious vegetarian dishes for laypeople and believers. This National Day holiday, besides regular monastic meals, Ping’an noodles and vegetarian buffet were offered to serve various believers. Ven. Master Xuecheng once said, “Taking more vegetarian food in our daily life is a good way for protection of living beings. It will benefit our own health and external environment, and is good to us regarding karma and its effect.”
