Ven. Master Xuecheng, President of the Buddhist Association of China, gave a lecture in a forum entitled “The Chinese Expression of Manjusri Belief” held in Mount Wutai this morning. He said that in the times of globalization, the Eastern wisdom as symbolized by Manjusri Belief could provide reference for the Western culture to rethink its values. In particular, such Eastern philosophy could help modern civilization which is based on Western Culture become wisdom-oriented.
