After the Buddhist Heaven-Sacrifice Rite on February 16, Ven. Master Xuecheng transmitted the three refuges and five precepts for the Buddhist disciples at Nanshan Guanghua Monastery in Putian city, Fujian Province. More than 2000 Buddhist believers shared the shower of Dharma bliss. Three refuges mean to take refuge in Buddha, Dharma and Sangha. Five precepts mean to abstain from killing, stealing, being obscene, lying and drinking alcohol.
