A group of 29 people including Wu Dehua, deputy director of the Department of Ethnic and Religious Affairs of Chengdu, and representatives of the five main religions in Chengdu visited Beijing Longquan Monastery. They were warmly received by Monastic Manager Ven. Chanxing and took a look around. They were deeply impressed by the ancient historic relics, unique design of the building, and cultural undertakings proceeded in the monastery. At the same day, led by Ven. Xianshu, more than 20 volunteers from Beijing Ren Ai Charity Foundation went to a prison in Huaihua, Hunan Province. They held a discussion with more than 40 police officers and exchanged ideas on the topic of “the Mission of Education”.
